VX IT Compartment Rack
IT rack, with 2 independent installation compartments, installation
height 2x23 U, vented sheet steel front and rear doors.
Rack frame:
Pre-assembled IT rack, comprising a torsionally rigid, welded and fully
symmetrical frame of rolled, 9-fold closed hollow sections, with
punching in a 25 mm pitch pattern. Frame with integrated M6 blind rivet
nuts, to enable fittings to be mounted on the section without impairing
the degree of protection. All section edges are chamfered. Horizontal
sections with integrated channel above the PU foam seal as external
protection for the seal. Same sections on all sides, with two mounting
levels on each section, accessible from inside and outside, for fast and
space-saving interior installation. Square holes on all sides to enable
the use of cage nuts and metric screws up to thread M8.
Base:
Welded base frame with integrated reinforcement to enable direct bolting
of the enclosure to the floor from inside. Closed base frame with
pull-out, two-part solid gland plate pre-assembled.
Baying possible on all sides. Static load capacity up to 10,000 N, acc.
to UL 2416.
Front and rear door:
2x one-piece vented sheet steel front and rear doors, with 85%
ventilation openings, painted in RAL 7035. Doors reinforced with tubular
door frame with integrated punching in a 25 mm pitch pattern and
integrated hammer-head cut-outs for cable clamping. Each door possesses
two hinges and a 2-point locking system. Door hinges can be swapped from
right to left. Door opening angle 130° for stand-alone enclosures and
with baying. All doors with comfort handle for semi-cylinder (30/10) mm,
fitted with security lock 3524 E.
Roof plate:
One-piece roof plate, with cable entry on both sides via brush strips in
the centre part of the roof.
Mounting levels:
Enclosure pre-configured with 482.6 mm (19") mounting level, front and
rear, per compartment, adjustable individually and independently of each
other.
Mounting levels comprising universal mounting angles for server, network
and electronics applications, front and rear, depth-variable, 12.5 mm
pitch pattern, screwed to the integrated dividers on the left and right.
Air baffle plates already integrated into the 19" mounting angles.
Mounting angles front and rear, material thickness 2.5 mm, with
additional pitch pattern in accordance with the standard EIA 310 E.
Scope of supply:
Pre-assembled enclosure, including assembly instructions and 4 door keys
Potential equalisation:
All panel parts with automatic potential equalisation or prepared for
the attachment of earthing straps. Front and rear doors require
additional earthing straps for connection to the rack frame.
19" mounting accessories are supplied loose within the scope of supply.
A potential equalisation kit is available as an accessory.
Cable duct:
Enclosure with integrated vertical cable ducts on both sides. Each cable
duct comprises a number of fully separated cable routing channels
corresponding to the number of compartments. Each compartment is thus
assigned two protected cable routing channels within the cable ducts on
either side, for cable routing between the compartment and the roof and
base sections of the rack.
Side panels:
Side panels are not included in the scope of supply. Dividers already
pre-assembled left and right within the scope of supply. No side panels
or further dividers are actually necessary, though horizontally divided,
lockable side panels or one-piece, screw-fastened side panels may be
selected as optional accessories from the VX IT accessory range (e.g.
end of a bayed suite).
Intermediate shelves:
The intermediate shelves incorporated as dividers between the
compartments possess a load-bearing capacity of 100 N and can be used to
set down tools, installation materials or documentation during
installation.
