Smart package version 2 (DK 7337.200)



Complete, pre-assembled enclosure system for use as a

server rack as well as in mixed applications with

additional active network technology. This is a robust,

torsion resistant frame. The rack has a power

distribution and UPS system as well as an enclosure

monitoring system.

Frame: Symmetrical extrusion frame made from welded and

vertical 16 x folded hollow sections with 25 mm DIN

pitch pattern punchings, system punching integrated in

the frame section, all section edges are rounded,

vertical frame sections each have two depth-offset

vertical mounting levels.

Doors: Front glazed door and steel sheet rear door.

The doors are lock in four positions by a locking rod,

at the front by the comfort handle with security lock

3524 E. A semi-cylinder (40/45 mm) as per DIN 18254 can

also be used. The rear door is fitted with a swivel

handle and security lock 3524 E.

The hinge is fitted on the right and has captive hinge

pins, the door stop can be changed without having to

remove the locking rods, 130 opening angle.

Roof and base:

Solid roof plate with silent running, speed controlled

office roof-mounted fan. Open base, including base

plate, ventilated with filtered cable entry. Ventilated

base/plinth that stands 100 mm high. Plug-in side

panels fitted with 3524E locks. All screw-fastened

panels have automatic potential equalisation and are

prepared for attachment of earthing straps.

Interior installation: 482.6 mm (19") mounting frames

fitted at the front and rear, with square 19" punchings

as per EIA 310-D. The frame is linearly

depth-adjustable.

Technical fittings:

Power distribution: The modular system enables a basic

configuration using vertical aluminium support rails

and a three-phase supply to be installed. The system

also has a redundant power supply configuration as a

second power supply has been provided for each of the

rails. The vertical support rails ensure that the slots

can be used over the full height of the enclosure and

the redundant supply comes from the second separate

supply (e.g. from a UPS).

Socket modules can be snapped into the support rails.

The shock protection design of the busbar ensures that

socket modules do not have to be fitted in all of the

slots. There are 4 modules with C13 IEC IEC320

pre-installed in the enclosure (2 x black, 2 x red).

Additional socket modules are available in different

country versions, e.g. C13 IEC IEC320, earthing pin,

F/B, CH, USA & UK. A mixture of all of the modules can

be fitted in the rails.

UPS: Single phase UPS controller with a 3,000 VA (2,100

W) rating using double-conversion technology (as per

VFI-SS-111) with additional battery pack. 6 min

transitory period at 100% load (15 min at 50% load).

The battery pack has a 5-year service life (as per

EUROBAT) and each module has an installation height of

2 U; additional battery packs can be integrated in

order to increase the transitory period. A SNMP plug-in

card has been integrated in the UPS controller for

network monitoring purposes. All of the UPS system

operating parameters can be called up via a web

interface. 2 x RCCMD software licences has been

included for automatic shutdown purposes so that 2

servers can be used for the controlled shut down if a

power failure occurs. Other licences can be obtained.

The UPS is a single-phase unit linked to 3 phases and

connected to the redundant busbar system supply.

A 3 m long 3-phase connection cable as per IEC 309 is

included to connect up to an appropriately fused mains

supply.

Enclosure monitoring system: Modular system, which is

fitted with a temperature sensor, smoke alarm and

access control system. The system uses an integrated

web server and TCP/IP and SNMP transfer protocols. The

configuration and polling can be via http or Telnet.

Free-of-charge management software is available for the

monitoring system; however, the system can also be

connected to other applications via the MIB supplied in

the package. The system can be expanded by integrating

other sensor units. Fault messages can be transferred

or polled via GSM, ISDN or analog modem (option).



5 x 0.5 m or 1.0 m long IEC connection cables and 20 x

nylon cable ties and EN 60320 / C13 plug locks that fit

the 10 IEC unit connection cables are also included as

extra accessories.
