| Guidelines for configuration and operation of data centres in Europe. |
|
Today energy and cost efficiency are surely the main topics the people responsible for data centres have to deal with. For this reason the European Commission has prepared the Code of Conduct for Data Centres - a guideline to improve energy efficiency. » What is the Code of Conduct (CoC)? » What are Rittal's tasks?

What is the EU Code of Conduct? The European Commission published the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centre Efficiency in November 2008. It is the first step towards common standards for data centres. The Code is a guideline of the European Union to improve operational processes and to apply, support and distribute Best Practice Strategies in data centres and their infrastructures. It is already supported by many well-known manufacturers. » More information on the Code of Conduct

How do you register your data centre? If you operate a data centre, you can support the code as "participant". You stand for and support the improvement of the energy and environmental balance and can actively have a say in the future of data centres with regard to specifications, regulations, laws, standards or certificates for environmental protection.
