Dynamic Rack Control
is the RFID based Rittal solution for the determination of the exact position of 482.6 mm (19 inch) components inside a rack. All components (e.g. servers) are equipped with RFID tags. The aerial strip mounted at the side of the 482.6 mm (19 inch) level detects the position of the components accurately to within 1/3 U. Information on components like inventory number/power consumption may be stored on the RFID tags and are still available after disassembly and installation.
