Cool Efficiency
Up to 45 % more economical with the same cooling output than its predecessor model: The new Cool Efficiency cooling unit from Rittal is setting trends in the 1000 W class. State-of-the-art chiller and fan technology result in reduced energy consumption and operating costs.Cool Efficiency is based on the TopTherm PLUS Wall-mounted cooling unit of the SK 3304 series with nano-coated condenser and integral electrical condensate evaporation as standard configuration features for constant efficiency and minimum maintenance costs.

Climate control with CO2
Compared with CO2 as a component of the atmosphere, the refrigerant R134a has a direct green house effect that is 1300 times more powerful. Rittal has achieved huge success with the use of CO2 as a coolant. The first prototypes were unveiled back in 2005. In 2006 Rittal launched a series of CO2cooling units that had undergone extensive practical trials.

Direct Cooling Plate
Power electronics components can be cooled more effectively by way of the liquid cooled DCP mounting plate (Direct Cooling Package). Heat losses are cleverly dissipated from the enclosure or housing without compromising the high enclosure protection category in any way.

Peltier cooling
The powerful thermoelectric cooling unit in a lightweight design is the most efficient way of climate control of command panels and small enclosures. Thanks to its low vibration operation it is ideal for precise applications. Energy-efficient control with pulse width modulation and innovative soft start function ensures a constant enclosure temperature and a long service life of the Peltier elements. Excess temperatures are recorded and displayed.
The cooling output is scalable thanks to the modular design.
Peltier technology also permits assembly and problem-free operation on command panels.
The new Thermoelectric Cooler rounds off the TopTherm range in the lower output range. |
