Benefits for end users

“Rittal series chillers are approved worldwide and ensure the ultimate in fail-safe operation.”

Compliance with international standards and approval criteria enables global use.

The wide voltage range means units are compatible with all common mains frequencies and voltages around the world.

The reliable worldwide Rittal service network and global availability of spare parts ensure fail-safe operation. Components are given QR codes, which makes it easier to reorder consumables and spare parts.

Remote monitoring using the Rittal IoT interface or an Ethernet card makes for easy monitoring. A digital retrofit enables cutting-edge condition monitoring and plays a big part in improving process reliability.

Extra safety is ensured thanks to enhanced monitoring options with the integrated flow sensor in the cooling medium circuit and fill level or filter mat monitoring.

“Rittal series chillers ensure maximum precision and system availability.”

With precision cooling as standard, Rittal chillers ensure a constant water temperature. Instead of operating the cooling compressor at full capacity and destroying a large part of the cooling power, as is the case with hot gas bypass control systems, the speed of the DC motors (compressor and fan) and the electronic expansion valve are controlled very precisely by the central inverter.

Thanks to exceptional temperature accuracy, machining systems operate with similarly impressive precision and do not negatively affect the accuracy of work (e.g. in the case of laser cooling).

“Rittal series chillers combine sustainability with maximum energy efficiency.”

Excellent energy efficiency reduces the carbon footprint and cuts energy costs. The basis for this high degree of energy efficiency is a variable-speed compressor.

Innovative Blue e+ technology results in energy savings of up to 70% compared to chillers with hot gas bypass control systems.

By using less coolant, Rittal chillers cut down on fluorinated greenhouse gases. They also work highly efficiently thanks to integrated micro-channel technology.

Bosch Rexroth AG

A chiller in the iron foundry

When temperatures reach 40°C, things get uncomfortably hot for electronics. In iron foundries, of course, it regularly gets even hotter. At its site in Lohr am Main, Bosch Rexroth GmbH runs its own foundry, which incorporates a sand preparation plant....

Bosch Rexroth

Fifty percent less energy consumption

You should never underestimate the energy consumption of machine tools: cooling enclosures and spindles for instance account for more than 15 per cent of it. A test installation in a CNC lathe at Bosch Rexroth demonstrated that the new Rittal Blue e+...
