- Client software to control the server shutdown via CMC III. The software supports all common operating systems and versions (e.g. Windows 7, VISTA, XP, Server 2003/2008, UNIX/LINUX and VMWARE Sphere/ESX Server, CITRIX XEN etc). One licence is required for each server to be shut down on an event-controlled basis.

PMC RCCMD licence
When this software is employed there is no continuous
polling required in case of shutdown of several
servers. This reduces the network load substantially.
Major functions:
- Messaging (e-mail, SMS, Popup, fax, etc.)
- Saving of cache content on the hard disk
- Saving of the current status of the open files
(Windows)
- Correct closing of all applications
- Executing of possibly deposited instructions (e.g.
running backup, saving database)
- Execution of correct system closure
- Switching off the UPS
Note:
Each additional server requires an RCCMD licence.
