Mike Freund
Managing Director
Prior to joining Rittal, Mike was director of Technical sales, Support and Training at Schneider Electric.
He held various leadership roles across several departments and locations at Schneider, where he worked for more than 30 years. He started his career as a general salesperson in his hometown of Pittsburgh for Square D Company, which was later bought by Schneider.
Mike is leading an executive team responsible for the growth of the business as well as the company’s operations, manufacturing, sales and administrative functions.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and is a certified energy manager through the Association of Energy Engineers. He lives in the greater Chicago area with his wife and two grown children.
Jack Sosnowski
Vice President, Sales
Jack joined Rittal in March of 2017, after 31 years with Honeywell International.
He has had an extensive background in executive management and leadership for the functions of Sales, Strategic Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, Sales Operations, Training, and Commercial Excellence for multiple strategic business units of the organization. These roles were both regional and global in scope.
He holds a Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree (with a minor in Plant Engineering) from Waterbury State Technical College. Jack is also certified in Six Sigma tools and techniques.
He is currently a School Board President, Finance Chairperson, has his Sr. Master level Parliamentary Certification, and is a Delegate to the Illinois School Board Association.
Chad Cassinelli
Vice President, Human Resources
Born and raised in Chicago, Chad was an Operations Manager for ten years before pivoting into Human Resources. He received both his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and his MBA from Concordia University Chicago.
He joined Rittal in 2019 focusing on building out the HR function and global initiatives for Rittal North America and ePLAN Software delivering on HR and Operational excellence for the US.
Prior to Rittal, Chad had developed his HR career in the Manufacturing, Software, and Energy Services industries both globally and domestically as a dedicated Business Partner and Change Management leader.
Since 2019, Chad has helped lead the significant national growth and development of Rittal US and EPLAN into what they are today.
Jim Collin
Vice President, Logistics
Born and raised in Illinois, Jim earned his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University on the GI Bill.
Jim served 3 years in the US Army and was stationed in Ansbach, Germany for most of his enlistment. He is Six Sigma Green Belt trained and has been a Continuous Improvement Instructor.
Jim has over 20 years of Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, and Supply Chain Planning experience. His background includes overseeing multi-site domestic and international operations shipping to both Distributors and Customers. Jim has Transportation experience in ground parcel, LTL/TL trucking, air, and ocean.
Since joining Rittal in 2020, he assumed responsibility for all U.S. Logistics, Warehousing, Distribution, 3PL's, Freight, Supply Chain Planning and FG Inventory.
John Finnegan
Vice President, Sales IE & Automation
Born and raised in Ohio, John received a bachelor’s degree in management from Wittenberg University. John joined Rittal in 1997 and launched what would become a brilliant 20+ year career with Rittal North America. He began his Rittal career selling industrial automation enclosure solutions in the Atlanta marketplace. Across his 20+ year career with Rittal North America,
John has gained extensive selling, market and leadership experience within the industrial automation and data center infrastructure industries which has led to multiple promotions over this time.
In 2019 John was promoted to the executive team as Vice President of Industrial Sales, focusing on the Eastern US industrial market leading Rittal’s commercial sales efforts. Today he is focused nationally on the core strategies, vertical markets and channels for profit growth in the industrial automation space.
Imran Ishaq
Director, Corporate Planning & Strategy
Born in Lahore, Pakistan, grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, Imran’s 30+ years career spans power, industrial, automation sales, marketing, product development, international management, services, training and competencies development for four major global industrial players.
He is based in Chicago metroplex. Imran is a graduate of Purdue University in Electrical Engineering & Engineering Technologies and Instead Global Executive Business program.
He joined Rittal NA in 2021 focusing on corporate planning and strategy development. Imran is an avid global traveler, an amateur radio, vintage car, and high-performance race-car enthusiast.
Melanie Corbolotti
Executive Assistant
Melanie was born and raised in Herborn, Germany and started her career with Rittal in January 1996 at the headquarters location in Herborn. After 7 ½ years and gaining experience in various roles from Inside Sales, Customer Service, Key Account Relations, Distributor Inside Support, and assisting the Sales Manager, she took the opportunity for an expat assignment in 2003 at our US location in Springfield and later Urbana OH.
During the expat assignment Melanie further advanced as the Assistant to the Sales Director and since 2006 holds the position as the Assistant to the Managing Director/President. Her main focus is to support the MD but also assisting the Executive Team as well as the office management in our Schaumburg, IL location.
