- The modular system facilitates basic configuration of the racks, thanks to a vertical support rail with single-/3-phase infeed. The various socket modules to supply the active components may be snap-fitted into the support rail. The various modules, earthing pins, IEC320 etc. may be inserted into the support rail in any combination. This is easily achieved, even by non-electricians, thanks to the shock hazard protected plug & play system.

Rittal Power System Module
Active PSM module with 4 x C19 and 2 x C13 slots for
plugging in a Rittal PSM busbar. The module occupies
two slots and up to 3 modules may be installed in a 2
m PSM busbar and up to 2 modules in a 1.2 m bar.
Combined population of different modules is also
supported. IP-compatible in conjunction with the
CMC-TC system. The module may be connected to the
Rittal CMC-TC enclosure monitoring system via RJ-45
connectors allowing the monitoring of the module and
switching and measuring of each individual slot. The
modules are cascadable. Up to 16 modules may be
administered via one IP address. Control is made via
the Web interface of the Rittal CMC-TC system. The
module has a two-digit 7 segment LED display that
indicates the various current measurement values. In
addition each individual port has two three-coloured
LED displays. The LEDs indicate the current status of
load on the respective slot. For this
the LEDs may change between the colours green, amber
and red. The threshold values of the display may be
configured via the CMC. An additional power pack (DK
7201.210) is necessary when operating the module
without connection to the CMC-TC. Up to 4 modules may
be operated with one power pack. In this configuration
the slots are not switchable and the LED display
serves as local current display.
