30% more space for cables through larger gland plate.
The form-fit rail used in the pattern of locators increases stability, especially under dynamic loads.
Because no drilling is required to fit the interior installation rail, the approval is not affected. Accessory components used to seal an existing opening in the enclosure guarantee UL conformity.
Components are easily installed or retrofitted on standard rails, ensuring flexibility for late reconfiguration or retrofits.
The interior installation rail is quickly and easily clamped into position – no drilling is required. Locators on the enclosure side panel enable screw-fastening with a positive locking system – no machining required.
Components such as the system light for instance are mounted on the rail in a flash – pure time saving.
Accessory components – from gland plates to lock systems, to wall mounting brackets – for rapid design, planning and installation.
When combined with the AX base configuration rail, system accessories from the VX25 enclosure, such as punched sections with mounting flanges, cable clamp rails and support rails, can also be used.
Components are easily installed or retrofitted on standard rails, ensuring flexibility for late reconfiguration or retrofits.
The use of identical parts means less complexity and optimises supply chain management.
Both the AX itself and all accessories are available directly off the shelf and delivered in record time.
This system has been used successfully for many years, and customers are impressed by its exceptional quality and reliability.
A long service life and the option of simple refitting/retrofitting help protect the environment.
RiPanel enables simple configuration of the AX – the system only shows components and accessory parts that match and are suitable for the selected enclosure. The integrated 3D model allows for direct, accurate positioning.
Software solutions from Eplan produce comprehensive, error-free documentation – with no additional effort.
Digitalisation allows effortless integration of the AX into the existing manufacturing system.
Your digital wiring plan pocket for machine and system documentation – from any device, anytime and anywhere.
The AX becomes part of the value chain, where there is a demand for integrated, seamless and data-based solutions.
- 30% more space for cables
- 30% less assembly time
- 30 new features
Integrated, consistent, data-based solutions spanning the entire value chain, from engineering, to system engineering, through to automation and beyond, are the key to greater efficiency in panel building and switchgear engineering. Act now to secure a better position in the competitive markets of the future.
In 1961, Rittal was the first company in the world to series-produce enclosures. It all started with the compact enclosure AE, the predecessor of the current AX series. Going against industry advice, Rudolf Loh demonstrated a great deal of courage and considerable ingenuity in realising his vision of industrial-scale enclosure manufacture.
A modest range of enclosures developed into the world’s largest modular system for enclosure manufacture. Since Rittal was founded, the company’s impressive innovative strength has spawned numerous enclosure generations, with millions of units in use – always ahead of their time. The latest generation – the AX – is a response to the challenges of the Industry 4.0 era and is the new original.
