HubSpot
This website uses HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc., a US software supplier with a branch office in Ireland (HubSpot Inc., 2nd floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland, phone +353 1 5187500), by which we cover specific aspects of our online marketing, including:
- Content Management (e.g., the contents of the website)

- Reporting (e.g., traffic sources, accesses etc.)
- Contact Management (e.g., user segmentation & CRM)
- Provision of landing pages and contact forms
HubSpot uses “Web Beacons” and cookies, which are stored on your computer and enable us to analyse your use of the website. The collected information (e.g., the IP address, the geographic location, the browser type, the duration of the visit and the pages viewed) is analysed by HubSpot on our behalf in order to generate reports regarding the visit and the pages viewed by you. If you do not wish a collection through cookies generally, you may at any time prevent the storage of cookies through your browser settings.
The data collected by us through HubSpot will be used by us exclusively to provide, and optimise, our marketing. Your data can then be used by us to contact you, as a visitor of our website, and to ascertain which of our services might be interesting for you. If you subscribe to our email news and download studies and other documents, we will also be able through HubSpot to analyse your visits through your additional details (in particular, name/email address) and to inform you about your preferred topics in a targeted manner. We also provide our registration service through HubSpot. HubSpot Inc. has been certified under the terms of the "EU – U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks" and is subject to the TRUSTe Privacy Seal and the "US - Swiss Safe Harbor" framework. You can inspect the complete privacy policy of HubSpot here . HubSpot will also inform you here in relation to the compliance with EU data protection law by HubSpot Inc. HubSpot provides information regarding the cookies used by it here and here.
Social Media Plugins and Third-Party Interactions
The Site allows interaction with third-party websites and social networks (Google, Instagram, Facebook) via hyperlinks, share buttons, and social plugins.
When users access areas with such tools, their data is directly transferred to these third-party platforms. This transfer is based on user consent, expressed when they click a plugin or hyperlink.
For privacy policies of third-party platforms, refer to their respective sites.
Google services
To improve our coverage range and our online presence, we use statistics, analysis and tracking services and web applications from Google (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google"). These will only be activated for you if you give your consent.
The legal basis for the data processing is your consent under Article 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR. If you have given your consent to the use of Google services, you can revoke this at any time by configuring the relevant settings under the "Cookies" link in the Cookie Consent Tool.
The following Google services are used with the user's consent. We must inform you that data may also be processed by Google outside the EU through Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): With our users' consent, we analyse the usage of our website using the web analysis service GA4. Among other things, GA4 uses so-called cookies to collect and process personal data, which enable us to analyse the use of our website by users. Google receives information about usage and surfing behaviour and may amalgamate this data with other user data processed by Google. In this context, the data may also be transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored and amalgamated with other data. On our behalf, Google uses this data to, among other things, provide us with (pseudonymised) information about the type and scope of usage of the website as well as information about our website visitors, and to provide us with other services related to website usage.
-
Google Signals: Google Signals enables us to collect event data if you are logged into your Google account and have activated ad personalization. This allows us to track which Google services you use across devices and browsers. This enables us to offer you better customized advertising for our products.
- DoubleClick: We use Google's DoubleClick service to analyse and improve the coverage range and effectiveness of our adverts on other websites. With our users' consent, among other things DoubleClick sets cookies for this purpose so that we can track whether users have seen or clicked one of our ads, which ads were displayed to them, and which ads resonate with them. Google also uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser so that users are prevented from seeing the same ad multiple times. The tools used by DoubleClick automatically establish a direct connection with the Google server. As far as can be determined, personal data such as server log files is also processed here. We have no influence over the scope of the data processing and further use of the data collected by Google by using this tool. Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives, among other things, the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or that you have clicked one of our ads.
- Google Ads Conversion: With Google Ads Conversion, we can track whether users have been redirected to our website from an ad. This enables us to determine how successful our individual advertising measures are and therefore how to improve them. For this purpose, with the users' consent cookies are set for recognising the user's web browser. If users visit certain pages of the website of an Ads Conversion customer (in this case Rittal), Google can recognise the users and know that they have clicked an ad and were redirected to the Rittal website. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in this context. Google only provides us – on our behalf – with statistical evaluations. Based on these evaluations, we can learn which of the implemented advertising measures are particularly effective. Through the integration of AdWords Conversion, Google receives, among other things, the information that users have called up the corresponding part of our website or have clicked one of our ads.
- Google Remarketing: Google's Remarketing function enables us to show users relevant advertising across their devices after visiting our website. For this purpose, Google uses a cookie stored in the browser to track user behaviour. This also allows Google to determine whether users have switched devices after visiting our website. Within the Google advertising network (e.g. on YouTube or in the Google search function), we can then show users ads that are of interest to them.
- Google Tag Manager (GTM): The GTM helps us to integrate cookies, statistical tools or tracking services on our website, to manage them, and to use them according to your selection in our cookie consent tool. The GTM does not set any cookies itself, it does not create its own user profiles, and it does not perform any independent analyses. It only functions as an organisational tool and transports electronic information. However, when the GTM is called up, users' IP addresses may be transmitted to Google's servers.
Data is collected by the Google services used on this website regardless of whether visitors have a user account with Google and may be logged in there. If users are logged into their Google account from their browser, the data is associated directly with this account. Google stores the data in user profiles and uses it for purposes including advertising, market research and/or the user-oriented presentation of websites. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (including for users who are not logged in) to provide personalised advertising. Users have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. This right must be exercised directly vis-à-vis Google. Even without a Google account or without being logged into an existing Google account, it is possible for Google to store user data (such as the IP address) and create a user profile.
Information about data processing at Google can be found by clicking this link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
You can prevent being tracked by Google as follows:
- By deactivating cookies for Conversion Tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", https://www.google.com/settings/ads. Please note that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies.
- By deactivating the interest-based ads from providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign under the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices. Please note that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies.
- By permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
In addition, you can prevent collection of the data created by the Google cookie relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available here.
