Rittal and its partner German Edge Cloud offer flexible infrastructure and cloud solutions in the form of “IT as a Service” models. These services are based on the RiMatrix BCC (Balanced Cloud Center) platform, with components such as racks, cooling and power supply already included in the predefined modules.
In collaboration with German Edge Cloud, IT components (server, storage, network, etc.) are also incorporated and serve as a platform for the services based on them (XaaS). The modular data centers created in this way can be accommodated compactly and in any location in containers. These portable container data centers are suitable for both standard applications and more demanding tasks such as high-performance computing (HPC), SAP Hana and big data applications. Customers have the option of operating these data centers themselves or sourcing them as a managed service from a private cloud.
