Rittal offers you more than just efficient products. We collaborate with you to identify and exploit hidden potential. The aim is to cut costs throughout your entire value chain, while at the same time conserving resources. Our efficiency and service checks are recommended for profitability calculations.
Efficiency check for enclosure cooling unit
Regular reviews of your Rittal components such as fans and cooling units help to optimise performance and minimise consumption. The efficiency check is a personalised efficiency analysis using the device information and operating parameters supplied by you. Based on this, we identify potential savings and amortisation periods and provide recommendations for boosting your efficiency.
Your benefits
- Analysis of installed equipment to gauge current performance
- Presentation of energy costs and potential savings
- Energy-saving suggestions for energy audits to DIN EN 16247-1
Analyses can only be carried out within the framework of industrial applications and compressor-driven enclosure cooling units.
Service check* for enclosure cooling units
A service check entails a visit by one of our engineers to record the data and status of your devices. They will carry out a visual inspection of cooling units, assess the general and maintenance status of your equipment, and prepare a detailed overview including a status report. You will be sent an efficiency calculation including potential savings and amortisation periods. Based on this, we will also draw up recommendations for improving your efficiency and machine availability.
Your benefits
- Analysis of installed equipment to determine current performance
- Presentation of energy costs and potential savings
- Identification of measures for minimising unscheduled production downtime and associated costs
- Energy-saving suggestions for energy audits to DIN EN 16247-1
Analyses can only be carried out within the framework of industrial applications and compressor-driven enclosure cooling units.

IT check with optional CFD analysis
Climate control accounts for a significant proportion of energy use in IT systems and data centres. This is one area where it is particularly worthwhile to optimise your cooling systems. A profitability calculation will elucidate your return on investment. Have us conduct regular, in-depth inspections of your OT and IT infrastructure. This will improve performance and ensure that any risks are identified early on.
Carry out an IT check!
In one short visit, our IT specialists will gain an initial overview of your IT infrastructure with a quick IT check and assess any modernisation requirements. Simply ask your technician about the IT check at your next appointment. We will be happy to assist you with an initial assessment and advice on the status of your equipment.
Based on these findings, we will arrange a follow-up appointment at which our IT specialists will document full details of your site conditions. In order to ensure the efficiency and safety of your IT solution, all details are professionally documented, from the maintenance status including any leaks in the cooling systems, to obsolescence risks, through to compliance with statutory requirements, guidelines and standards.
As the outcome, you are sent an assessment containing individual optimisation and modernisation options including identified cost drivers, potential savings and risk minimisation via the optional predictive replacement of wearing parts. To assist with budget planning, you will also receive a detailed quote for implementation of all the identified measures.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a numerical calculation method offering unique analysis opportunities for the deign and optimisation of data centre cooling. CFD provides digital flow and temperature simulations in data centres, for faster decision-making about climate control solutions.
The CFD analysis is included in your data centre IT check to help you cut costs, continuously improve availability, capacity and efficiency, and minimise the risk of failure.
