Established in 1997, GPS Electrical Services is a specialist in industrial electrical solutions, providing switchboard manufacturing, electrical engineering, automation, and plant maintenance services across Victoria. With over 150 staff and more than 3,000 projects delivered annually, the company works with national and multinational clients across a range of industries. As part of its operations, GPS Electrical Services adopted Rittal’s new RiLineX power distribution platform for a 250A rated panel project in Victoria.
The Problem
For this project, GPS Electrical Services required a system that could safely and effectively distribute power to multiple motor starters within a compact 250A rated panel. The build required specific components that could quickly be configured to suit the project requirements.

The Solution
The compact RiLineX solution was quick to configure, plan and mount within the enclosure, saving engineering and assembly time as well as valuable space on the mounting plate. Rittal supplied components from the RiLineX 60 mm busbar system to configure the 250A rated panel, including:
- 2 × 250A feed-through modules for 70 mm2 cable
1 × top feed connection module (70 mm2) - 68 × device adapter modules, 32A rated and designed to suit standard Schneider MPCBs and contactors
- Spare space for additional future modules
The Outcome
GPS Electrical Services successfully incorporated the RiLineX busbar platform into the 250A rated panel. The system configuration provided the necessary feed-through, connection, and device adapter modules to meet the project’s requirements in Victoria.
