AI-enabled IT-Infrastructure with NVIDIA

Rittal to showcase latest MGX™ Architecture rack at COMPUTEX 2026

Economic growth driven by AI applications requires a completely new infrastructure in data centres. The leading players in this field will meet at COMPUTEX in Taipei from 2 to 5 June, creating a technology showcase for AI operational technology with global relevance.

This year’s event reaches a new scale, featuring 1,500 exhibitors from around the world across 6,000 booths. NVIDIA, one of its major drivers, will host GTC Taipei as part of its flagship AI conference series — spanning multiple events around the world that bring together developers, researchers, and business leaders to share new technology, real-world applications, and what’s coming next.

Rittal will join NVIDIA’s AI Factory MGX™ Ecosystem reception and showcase the latest MGX™ Architecture rack at COMPUTEX

Designed for the Vera Rubin Generation VR200
The current generation of AI infrastructure based on NVIDIA Vera Rubin VR200 introduces significantly higher requirements in terms of performance, power density, and cooling.
The MGX™ 1.2 rack, developed in close cooperation with Rittal as global systems supplier of hyperscale IT infrastructure, is designed to meet these requirements and includes:

  • Support for liquid cooling, essential for high density GPU based systems
  • DC power distribution using efficient busbar based architectures
  • Alignment with OCP standards, enabling interoperability and ecosystem wide compatibility
  • Modular MGX™ 1.2 rack architecture supporting scalable system integration

These capabilities form a critical foundation for deploying next generation accelerated computing infrastructure at scale.

Enabling Scalable and Efficient AI Infrastructure

Modern AI systems, especially those based on advanced reasoning and agentic workloads, require infrastructure capable of handling increasing power density, thermal loads, and data throughput.
The modular MGX™ architecture enables flexible system configurations and faster time to market, while Rittal ensures reliable deployment, operational efficiency, and scalability across data center environments.

Shaping the Future Together

As the industry moves toward standardized and scalable AI infrastructure, ecosystem collaboration becomes a key success factor.

Through its work on the MGX 1.2 rack and its ongoing cooperation with NVIDIA, Rittal is helping to enable the next generation of AI factories, bringing together innovation, standardization, and real world deployment expertise.

NVIDIA MGX™ is a modular reference architecture for accelerated computing, helping system builders design future-compatible systems faster, reducing costs, accelerating time to market, and improving ROI. MGX™  supports hundreds of server combinations, from single nodes to NVIDIA Vera Rubin third-generation rack-scale architectures for AI, high-performance computing, and NVIDIA Omniverse™ workloads.
