Important to know: The regulations apply to new units only – existing equipment can still be operated and maintained with refrigerants R134a/R410a until 2032. From then on, a maintenance and servicing ban will apply to equipment that uses refrigerants with a GWP value over 750.

Exemptions from the GWP limit
- Products containing R-513A (GWP 631) may be used after 1 January 2027 if the safety requirements at the installation site do not permit the use of refrigerants with a GWP < 150.
- In this case, the permissible GWP limit for refrigeration equipment is 750.
- The regulation does not specify a specific limit for chillers.

The refrigerant is not only established worldwide as the standard in modern car air conditioning systems, but has also been used successfully for years in the Japanese market for switch cabinet cooling.
Dobri razlozi za rashladno sredstvo R-513A
manji potencijal globalnog zagrevanja (GWP): Rashladno sredstvo R-513A ima znatno nižu GWP vrednost u poređenju sa rashladnim sredstvom R134a. Kod R134a ona je iznosila 1.430, dok kod R-513A iznosi samo 631. Kod čilera se GWP vrednost smanjuje čak za 70 % (sa 2.088 kod R410a na 631 kod R-513A).
