Container IT solutions from Rittal are based on a modular principle:
- Structure: Robust sheet steel containers, specifically designed for IT applications, with an encased internal wall structure and thermal insulating materials.
- Configuration: Depending on customer requirements, containers may be fully fitted out with redundant data centre climate control, 19 inch server racks including cable management, raised floor, early fire detection, fire extinguisher system, network distribution, IT power distribution and UPS systems including bypass system.
- Cooling: Innovative cooling technologies like Blue e+ outdoor cooling secured directly to the outer wall of the container to save space inside and boost energy efficiency.
- Monitoring: Monitoring of all operating parameters via solutions such as the Rittal CMC III to ensure safe, efficient operation.
These modular solutions enable companies to adapt their IT infrastructure quickly, flexibly and efficiently to changing requirements.
Which IT containers are available from Rittal?
Rittal offers a wide range of server room containers, including:
- RiMatrix IT containers: Ready-to-connect IT infrastructure in a robust container shell, providing standardised IT modules in a range of output categories for SME, Cloud and Edge applications.
- RiMatrix power containers: Modular, uninterruptible power supplies to one or more IT modules. They may be connected directly to a RiMatrix IT container.
- RiMatrix cooling containers: Efficient recooling systems in a container frame, ready-to-connect and system-tested, featuring redundant chillers with integral free cooler or an additional external free cooler, plus network functions. A RiMatrix cooling container may be connected directly to a RiMatrix IT container to deliver suitable climate control.
- RDC all-in-one containers: Ready-to-connect IT infrastructure in a robust container shell, providing standardised IT modules including an uninterruptible power supply and cooling in a range of output categories for SME, Cloud and Edge applications.
