Rack frame:
IT rack, comprising a torsionally rigid, welded and symmetrical frame of
rolled, 16-fold vertical sections connected with a horizontal frame at
the bottom and horizontal cross rails with welded roof plate at the top.

All frame sections with integrated system punching in a 25 mm pitch
pattern permit convenient interior installation through simple attaching
and fastening of the installation components. All section edges are
rounded. The vertical frame sections each possess two mounting levels
offset in the depth and width directions, which can be used individually
for flexible mounting of the components. Enclosures can be bayed to the
front and rear, as well as to the sides.

Load capacity: up to 500 kg.

Base:
Open base frame, without gland plates, for optional individual
configuration with base modules from the range of accessories.

Front and rear door:
Glazed sheet steel door at the front, with 3 mm single-pane safety glass
(ESG).
One-piece solid sheet steel door at the rear. Both with two hinges.

Front and rear door with design handle and 2-point locking rod, security
lock 3524 E, exchangeable for an AX comfort handle for optional
integration of a profile half-cylinder. Door hinge side can be swapped,
door opening angle 135° for stand-alone enclosures, 105° with baying.
Door hinges with captive hinge pins.

Roof plate:
Multi-piece solid roof plate, comprising a welded centre piece and cable
guide struts integrated without the need for tools at the outside.
With openings for cable entry over the full enclosure depth on both
sides.
Roof plate centre piece and cable guide struts with rounded edges for
system-compliant cable entry taking into account the minimum bending
radius.
Roof incl. concealed cut-out to accommodate a fan unit
for active ventilation.
For convenient cable entry, the cable guide struts can simply be removed
without the need for tools and then clipped back into place when
finished. The integrated bending radius avoids cable routing over sharp
edges.
Cable entry options can be expanded with brush strips from the range of
accessories.

Mounting levels:
Enclosure pre-configured with two 482.6 mm (19") mounting levels, front
and rear.
The total static load capacity of both mounting levels is 500 kg.

Mounting levels comprising universal mounting angles, front and rear,
depth-variable, 15 mm pitch pattern, screwed to depth stays of the
enclosure frame at top and bottom.
Imperial mounting levels can be positioned either symmetrically or
asymmetrically with an offset to each other. Alternative mounting
dimensions for 21", 23" or 24" components can also be realised.

Mounting angles front and rear, material thickness 2.0 mm, with
additional pitch pattern in accordance with the standard EIA 310 E. All
height units are marked on the mounting angles and numbered in opposite
directions. Height unit markings on both mounting levels can be read
from both inside and outside for simplified component installation.

Front mounting angles prepared for tool-free mounting of cable routing
aids and organisation of structured cabling with maximum packing
density.

Rear mounting angles prepared on both sides for mounting of a Power
Distribution Unit (PDU) in 1 U form factor for electrical power
distribution in the enclosure, avoids occupying component installation
space thanks to space-saving side mounting in the zero-U space between
mounting level and side panel.

Side panels:
One-piece lockable side panels with integrated security lock 3524 E
mounted on the enclosure.
