With the Rittal ePOCKET digital wiring plan pocket, your equipment and system documentation is always up to date. What’s more, it can be accessed directly from any device, any time and anywhere. This will speed up your processes at every stage in the operation as well as saving you valuable time and money.

Anybody who is registered in EPLAN Cloud and owns a Rittal enclosure can use Rittal ePOCKET.

To activate and create equipment and system documentation, you need a Rittal enclosure. Once you have logged into the EPLAN Cloud environment and have accessed the Rittal ePOCKET service, scan the QR code on the rating plate of your Rittal enclosure from Rittal ePOCKET. After the QR code has been validated, the equipment or system documentation will be activated for you. If there is no QR code on the Rittal rating plate, documentation is created by manually entering information from the Rittal rating plate. You will then receive your Rittal QR code to match your enclosure. You can use the dialogues that follow to fill your digital wiring plan pocket with all the data, documents and information for your equipment or system.

Rittal ePOCKET is a browser-based application, and you can therefore use the current version of your Internet browser to access it. At present, Rittal ePOCKET is optimised for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

Rittal ePOCKET can be used with any Rittal enclosure. Once Rittal ePOCKET equipment or system documentation has been created, it is then available free of charge for an unlimited period.

Yes, Rittal ePOCKET supports the addition of multiple Rittal QR codes from different enclosures. All you need to do is access the relevant equipment or system documentation and click on the “Add QR code“ button. You can then add another Rittal QR code.

You can find a detailed explanation of roles and access rights on the Eplan help page.

No, when you log into Rittal ePOCKET, you will always have access to all the equipment and system documentation in your organisation, even without scanning a Rittal QR code. The only requirement is the access rights to the relevant equipment and system documentation. Provided you have the necessary access rights, you can replace the destroyed QR code with a new one in the relevant equipment or system documentation.

You can create equipment or system documentation with the help of one enclosure for the entire system. You then have the option of adding further QR codes to the equipment or system documentation. Subsequently, it is possible to jump directly to the equipment or system documentation from each QR code.
