Automation – Do it.

Hannover Messe 2026 – navigate the industrial transformation successfully with Rittal and Eplan!

Digitalisation gaps, growing efficiency requirements and the acute skills shortage are major industry-wide challenges. At Hannover Messe 2026, Rittal, Eplan and Rittal Automation Systems will be demonstrating how companies in all branches of industry can use AI driven industrial automation to turn these challenges into measurable successes – in the shape of faster processes, better data quality and maximum future-proofing.

Visit us in person at Booth D50 in Hall 27 to discover how a smart, end-to-end ecosystem can strengthen your entire value chain – from engineering and manufacturing through to operation.
Automation – Do it.

Hardware – smart infrastructure for a networked, safe and energy-efficient industry

A modern-day industry needs reliable, scalable and energy-efficient infrastructure solutions – whether in mechanical engineering, production, power distribution or complex plant structures.
Rittal meets this requirement with a globally standardised modular system comprising enclosures, IT infrastructure, power distribution and cooling – all perfectly adapted to your processes.

  • Future-proof infrastructure designed for the use of cutting-edge automation and AI technologies
  • Increased efficiency and availability thanks to modular solutions
  • Uniform standards worldwide that simplify procurement, integration and operation

F-gas-compliant cooling with a GWP below 150

Industrial cooling is currently undergoing a sea change, because the more stringent F‑gas Regulation requires refrigerants to have a GWP below 150. Rittal is therefore being quick to switch to the ultramodern, F-gas-compliant refrigerant R‑1234yf (GWP 0.5) – a solution established worldwide that is already being used successfully in automotive climate control systems and the Japanese enclosure climate control market.

  • Cooling for your systems that provides legal certainty and is fit for the future
  • Energy efficiency and significant reduction in CO₂
  • Global availability and established technology

Software – smart engineering using end-to-end data

With Eplan, you can make your electrical engineering much, much faster. Using high-quality component data and a holistic engineering platform, you can create digital twins – the perfect basis for seamless, automated manufacturing – in a matter of seconds.

Cideon ensures the seamless integration of your CAD, PLM and ERP systems, thereby creating end-to-end data flows throughout your engineering processes. This pool of data provides the foundations not only for efficient collaboration and well-informed decisions, but also for future AI applications.

  • Faster engineering, a lower error rate and less coordination work
  • End-to-end data flows as a basis for automation and AI
  • Greater agility thanks to seamless system networking

Automation – efficient automation solutions for an optimised value chain

Together, Rittal, Eplan and Rittal Automation Systems provide an ecosystem that extends far beyond conventional automation. Data, processes and physical infrastructure merge to create a smart end-to-end system. Regardless of whether you operate complex industrial systems or work in mechanical and plant engineering, power engineering, production or infrastructure planning, AI‑driven automation opens up completely new potential.

Our end-to-end solutions can be used to automate the following:

  • Shorter project and production times thanks to networked engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Enhanced process quality thanks to digital assistance and automated operations
  • Reduced overall costs thanks to improved data quality, transparency and efficiency

Service – smart tools for rapid support and maximum availability

Data-driven service operations are increasingly the norm in industry. Rittal and Eplan lay the foundations for preventive, AI‑assisted maintenance and more efficient operating processes.

  • Round-the-clock availability of digital documentation, resulting in faster orientation, less work and optimum access to information
  • Smart tools that make service, maintenance and repair operations much simpler
  • Transparent, networked data flows, for well-informed decisions and smooth operations
